    Hear the Teacher says that ra should not be used after a number + a noun if there is no “the” implied. This seems right. But in the examples of numbers given in Useful Drills 21, which are exactly of this kind, ra appears in every case, so was that wrong? Also here, if one should not put ra after ketab-i, it would seem appropriate not put it after yek-i.

    Meri, khali ‘helpful’ (mefeed?) bood. Tamarin mi konam ama yek ‘question’ (pesaresh?) doram; kodom jomleh derosteh bood:

    من آنجا را هـفته گذشته بود

    يا

    من آنجا هفته گزشته بود

    Ps: – sorry for the pinglish, I am trying to maintain writing in Farsi as best I can, so both help and question were words I was not sure of, which is why I added what I think they are in Farsi in bracets.

    I hope you can help me :)
