Usually in Persian, we use phrases like 'this player will play' - OR, Mark will play' - OR, 'this player will be in' for 'Man on'. So, I am translating 'Mark will play'. You may replace Mark with any other name. 219- Run back and defend (in Soccer/sports) = 220- One two (in soccer/sports) =
221- Push forward (in soccer/sports) = 222- Does my flirting bother you? (This phrase is considered Taboo in Persian. I don't suggest you either use or do it!) 223- I want to be with you every second of the day. 224- Will you marry me? 225- Joon! => Actually, this is Persian and I am supposed to translate it into English. Here are the meanings: A: When somebody calls you, you may say Joon /ju:n/ or Joonam! /ju:næm/! Here, it means 'yes'. B: When you use it after somebody's name such as Hassan Joon!!! Here, it means 'dear'. In this sentence, Joon is informal or friendly based. The formal one is Hassan Jan /ja:n/. C: Joon or Jan /ja:n/ also means 'Soul'. D: When somebody tries very hard to do something, or as we say it in English: He almost killed himself to do this job. For example: I almost killed myself to teach you Persian!! E: When you are watching somebody who is trying very hard to do a job. However, he tries for such a long time that makes you almost angry. Here you could say (of course on your own responsibility!!) : 226- I love you with all my heart. I hope one day you will realize that. 227- Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll be among the stars. => Although not sure, this one seems to be a proverb or a kind of saying. The word for word translation does not look very common in Persian. We have some sayings in Persian like 'always have great expectations' or 'go for big goals' or 'always drink water from the start point of (water) springs'. I have translated the last one (always drink water from the start point of (water) springs). 228- With the hope of God we will have a beautiful life. 229- You can not and should not Love me, I am not good enough for you. 230- I wish you were there. 231- Happy birthday daddy! 232- Come home to me. 233- I can't wait to marry you. 234- I will be fluent in Farsi before you know it. 235- Smile everyday because you know I will always love you. 236- Remember me. 237- How was school today? 238- Are you feeling okay? 239- Would you like me to make you some food? 240- Take your clothes off! 241- Tell me a story. 243- Would you like to see a movie with me this week? 244- O God, my God, my Beloved, my heart's Desire. 245- Warm wishes for a special someone -and that is you.
